Andres is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia, a postgraduate in Commercial Law and Financial Legislation from Universidad de los Andes, and completed an LL.M. at Queen Mary University of London, after obtaining the Chevening Scholarship from the Commonwealth Foreign Office of the United Kingdom.
