Profile
Andrés Felipe Melo is an associate in Garrigues' Banking & Finance and Securities Markets practice areas. Andrés has advised a broad range of entities in the financial sector, assisting them with incorporation, mergers, product structuring and contract negotiations relating to entities surveilled by the Colombian Financial Superintendence; likewise, he has partaken in consultations with foreign financial supervisors.
In addition to having advised on financial regulatory matters, he has also participated in the structuring of securities issues in both primary and secondary markets, as well as in the international market.
Education
Law degree from Universidad de los Andes and Specialist degree in Financial and Security Markets Law from Universidad Javeriana.
