Ana Barandiarán is a principal associate in the Corporate/Commercial Law practice of the Bilbao office with over 14 years' professional experience. Between 2008 and 2011 she worked in the commercial law and corporate governance department of Ramón y Cajal Abogados in Madrid.

She specializes in corporate law, and domestic and international commercial contracts, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

She has extensive experience in commercial contracts, board secretary duties, preparing reports and legal opinions on corporate matters, advising family business and preparing family protocols.

Ana has also participated in a large number of M&A transactions, due diligence reviews, joint ventures and corporate restructuring processes.

She also has extensive experience in the insurance sector and regularly advises insurance companies.

Ana Barandiarán is a member of the Vizcaya Bar Association.
