Alyssa Ward is an associate in the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group.

Alyssa earned her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Tennessee College of Law and her B.A. (magna cum laude) in Spanish Language & Culture and English Creative Writing from Union University.

In law school, she was a copy editor on the Executive Board for the Tennessee Law Review. Alyssa was a member of the 2025 national champion L. Edward Bryant, Jr. National Health Law Transactional Competition team. Her article, Title IX Meets NIL: Addressing the Inequities of Collectives for Women’s Sports Athletes, was published in Issue 91.4 of the Tennessee Law Review.

In college, Alyssa was a scholarship athlete on the softball team. She was named Union’s Senior Female Athlete of the Year in 2022.
