Alexandria Twiss is commercial litigator with experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court. Alex's expertise and knowledge of procedure and evidence in both Texas and Federal courts makes her a go-to when it comes to counseling clients through all aspects of the litigation and trial process. Confident and experienced both in and out of the courtroom, Alex works closely with clients to tailor an approach to litigation that will achieve both their business and litigation goals, whether through dispute resolution, trial, or otherwise.

Examples of Alex's work include:

• Obtaining dismissal based on personal jurisdiction grounds for Defendants after extensive briefing and jurisdictional discovery in two putative class actions in federal district court in South Carolina and Colorado.
• Prevailing on Summary Judgment of a premise liability lawsuit, obtaining early dismissal on behalf of a large retail client.
• Representing a large transportation and logistics company in a breach of lease trial in the Northern District of Texas.
• Assisting on federal multidistrict class action litigation representing thousands of corn farmers across the United States bringing claims against a biotechnology company.

Alex has experience representing clients in numerous industries including oil and gas, technology, financial services, real estate, health care, and insurance. Alex regularly handles cases involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, fraudulent transfer, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, partnership disputes and other business claims.

Alex earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law where she served on the executive board of the Baylor Law Review, earned multiple advocacy awards, and participated on multiple advocacy teams, including two mock trial teams and a moot court team.
