Profile
Albert Ferrer is a senior associate in the criminal practice area of the Barcelona office.
He has extensive experience in providing advice and acting as legal counsel in all kinds of criminal litigation. Since joining Garrigues in 2011, his practice has focused mainly on the procedural angle of criminal law, specializing in white-collar crime, with broad experience in advising clients in relation to financial and corporate offenses, offenses against the public purse, against the public authorities or against workers' safety and rights.
In addition, he has conducted and partaken in several internal investigations aimed at identifying the potential commission of crimes in organizations and establishing, where appropriate, the best strategy to be followed.
He has also been a lecturer in the Criminal Litigation module of the Master's Degree in Legal Practice managed by the Universidad Pompeu Fabra.
Albert Ferrer is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (no. 37,776).
