Aida González is a principal associate in the securities market and mergers & acquisitions practices areas, and she also has experience in banking and finance law.

As part of her specialization in securities markets, she provides ongoing advice to financial institutions and industrial clients on issues of securities and debt instruments of all kinds, including bonds, convertible instruments or mortgage and internationalization covered bonds. Her advice also covers the inclusion of these issues on secondary markets.

She has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, having participated in numerous acquisitions, mergers and spin-offs of a wide range of companies, businesses or assets in different industries (insurance, industrial, consumer products, among others), as well as in IPOs.

She also provides recurring advice to listed and unlisted companies on corporate law matters, particularly relating to corporate governance and commercial contracts. In addition, she has experience in project finance, having participated in transactions relating to the financing of renewable energy facilities.

She is involved in pro bono services providing advice to not-for-profit entities that engage in charitable, welfare, cultural and educational activities.

In 2011-2012, she worked out of Garrigues' London office.
