Abel Gallego Meliá is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Law department and joined the firm in 2012. He has coordinated engagement teams since 2015.

He is noted for his expertise and reputation in litigation proceedings before the labor and judicial review courts, and he also provides general advice on all labor and social security matters affecting companies. He advises on business restructuring processes: collective and individual procedures to terminate or temporarily suspend employment contracts on objective grounds and procedures for the material modification of working conditions. He also has experience in negotiating collective labor agreements and procedures to opt out of collective labor agreement conditions.

He specializes in litigation concerning disciplinary dismissals and contractual terminations on objective grounds, as well as collective disputes, before the labor courts at all instances.
